Case study 04 · Rally Beverage Co.
Before Blorp,
there was Rally.
A high-school dream turned into a vivid beverage brand—and the creative proving ground for everything that came next.

The beginning
We didn’t wait for a brief.
We built the dream.
Rally Beverage Co. began as our dream out of high school: create a beverage company with enough personality to feel bigger than the can it came in.
It wasn’t a conventional client project. It was a self-started proving ground—a place to learn how naming, character, packaging, and story could work together as one recognizable world.

The visual idea
Make it feel like it was already in motion.
Oversized red lettering, a sweeping yellow orbit, and a deep black field gave Rally immediate energy. The friendly face hidden inside the wordmark introduced the character-led thinking that would later become central to Blorp.
The identity system
One big idea.
Four distinct signatures.
The core logo could stretch from a full cosmic scene to a clean wordmark or character badge, giving the concept enough range for cans, merchandise, social content, and illustrated storytelling.

Beyond the logo
A can became a character.
A character became a world.
Rally moved beyond a static identity into illustrated campaigns and story-driven touchpoints. The mascot could hold the product, lead an adventure, or carry a call to action without losing the bold simplicity of the original mark.
The packaging concept
Three flavors.
One unmistakable family.
Orbital Orange, Cosmic Cherry, and Galactic Grape shared the same star-filled black canvas while color gave each flavor its own signal. Together, the cans showed how Rally could grow into a cohesive product line.

The legacy
The first chapter of a much bigger story.
Rally was never the end of the idea. It taught us how much we loved building mascot-led brands, packaging systems, and entire worlds around a product. When Rally eventually gave way to Blorp, that creative foundation came with it.
